MEET THE ARTIST
Do you know that feeling when your mind is buzzing with ideas, and everything feels a bit too noisy? That's me, pretty much all the time. But when I sketch, scribble, or simply jot down a to-do list, it's like I'm unjumbling my thoughts, and a wave of calm washes over me. I was always the one at school sketching and doodling outside the margins, on the inside covers - anywhere there was a blank section of paper.
My art has always been my voice, my story and a sanctuary from the busyness of life (and my brain) - especially after I became a mother. Art became my anchor, helping me find myself amidst the beautiful chaos. If I'm having a great day, I paint. If I'm having a bad day, I paint. And when I'm happy and creating, I feel like the best version of myself for me and my family.
Every piece I create is a chapter of my life - a memory, a story and a piece of my heart.
When people look at my art, I hope they feel a connection, a tug at their heartstrings. I want them to be transported to a memory, to feel joy, and to see a story unfold before their eyes.

December — Narcissus & Holly

The delicate, star-shaped narcissus sits poised, its crisp white petals framing a soft pale centre. Beside it, the holly’s glossy green leaves and clusters of bright red berries create a striking contrast. Symbolising hope and renewal, the narcissus complements the holly’s representation of protection and goodwill.
This combination is particularly fitting for December babies, who are said to be seen for their generosity, honesty and quiet resilience.
This piece is crafted layer by layer, combining hand-inked Yupo paper and sustainable canvas. Each piece is individually hand-cut.
Framed by Southern Buoy in a charcoal-stained timber frame, it features special art glass to minimise glare and further protect the artwork from UV.
